The Raw Exuberance Difference
* We have a low environmental footprint (no car, home business)
*Our website is run on 100% solar energy
*We integrate permaculture, environmental sustainability and social nudity into our focus towards holistic health.
Our Recommended Practices*
(1) Grow your own food!
(2) Knowledge. Educate yourself about raw food (check out our book and video list)
(3) Add more good foods and minerals into your dietary spectrum. Mineralize yourself. According to David Wolfe (Exotic Nutrition DVD) Some defecits may be too big to cover just with food. The more mineralized you become, the harder it will be to be sick.
(4) Transition to whole food, organic and vegan and then toward Rainbow Green Live Food Cuisine (Gabriel Cousens)!
(5) Freshly picked, organic green leafy vegetables. Cousens believes life force is lost shortly after picking. Farmer's market much better than stores.
(6) Exercise, sun and fresh air!
(7) Body positive living. Do the best (eat healthy and exercise) with the body you have and go naked!
(8) Community involvement, volunteering, supporting organizations and businesses promoting health, wellness and good environmental practices. Please visit the Raw Wiki site for local, national and international resources.
(9) Environmentally conscious living
(10) 7 Aspects of Living in Cousen's book Conscious Eating
(11) Incorporating SuperFoods and Herbs. Delicious and highly potent. Try goji berries and raw chocolate (cacao) as a starting point.
(12) Chewing and masticulating your food thoroughly.
(13) Some Green Smoothies (for a certain type of assimilation, as a transition). Blending food does unfortunately create free radicals, according to Cousens. Norwalk press best (least oxidation, least free radicals, juice lasts longest), Green Star and Vitamix 2nd best.
(14) Juice Feasting (for a limited time only, its quite unnatural). Being careful to stay mostly clear of fruit juices due to non-buffered, high sugar levels. Celery and cucumber bases used at Tree of Life.
(15) Fasting
